Welcome to A2

Hello and welcome to my A2 Media blog.

Well done on surviving and hopefully enjoying AS Media. We're glad you've opted to take the A2 module and hope that you continue to do well.

This blog is part of our strategy to help you get the most out of your media course.

How?

This blog will:

• have a weekly summary of what we have covered in class plus homework tasks - you can check you are up to date or, if absent, what you need to catch up on
• have additional notes and handouts relevant to your group
• show all important notices for this group
• have links in the top right corner to our other A2 blogs e.g. Media Regulation

So, you need to check this blog several times a week. It is your responsibility to be up to date and fully informed, not ours. Even if absent, you have no excuse for not knowing what your homework is and when it is due.

You also need to be PFL - Prepared For Learning - for every lesson. This means:

• you have bought all your packs for the year


• you have the right pack in class with you
• you have paper and pen
• you have a homework diary
• you have a positive attitude to learning and a willingness to participate in whatever we are doing in class that day

This is what we expect of you every lesson - if you are PFL for every lesson, then you will get the most out of this course!
